Travelling to Benidorm

As service charge is already included in prices and on bills and invoices, tipping is not regarded as obligatory. Nevertheless, tips are usually left if the service received has been very satisfactory especially in the bars and restaurants in Benidorm.
Banks & Credit Cards
Most banks in Benidorm are open from 8.30a.m to 2p.m. There are automatic cash dispensers available 24hrs in all around the city most of which provide an international service. Most hotels, restaurants and shops in Benidorm accept major credit cards such as American Express, VISA, Mastercard, 4B, Access and Diners Club.
In Benidorm, shops are open from 10a.m to 1.30-2p.m and from 4.30-5p.m to 8-8.30p.m. Large stores and shopping centres remain open all day long from 10a.m to 10p.m. In the many tourist areas the shops and leisure venues, restaurants and eating places are open all days of the week. Restaurants are usually open from 1p.m to 4.30p.m for eating, although the kitchen might close earlier. And from 8.30p.m to 00.30a.m for evening meals. Nevertheless, there are establishments aimed especially at the British community where the opening hours are governed by British customs.
